Carbamide-formaldehyde resin of brand IIV, grade А, В, С, is a product of carbamide condensation polymerization (GOST 2081-92) and carbamide-formaldehyde concentrate (CFC) (ТY 2181-032-00203803-2003), including melamine modified one, or carbamide (GOST 2081-92) and concentrated formalin, including melamine modified one.
The resin is used for production of medium density fiberboards (MDF) having low formaldehyde emission – class E1.
Carbamide-formaldehyde resin Prefere 10G268 is a modified liquid product of condensation polymerization of carbamide and formaldehyde with low content of formaldehyde, and it is used in production of particle boards to be operated in dry conditions, as well as with lowered swelling by thickness.
When Prefere 10G268 resin is used, particle boards may be fabricated, which correspond to emission class F**** (“Super Е0”) according to standards JIS A 5905 (2003) and JIS A 5908 (2003), which determine the threshold limit by a dessicator 0.3 mg/l.
Carbamide-formaldehyde resin Prefere 10H125 is a liquid product of condensation polymerization of carbamide and formaldehyde modified with melamine, with low content of formaldehyde, and it is used in fabrication of particle boards of class P5 and P7 in accordance with EN 312. Particle boards fabricated with the use of Prefere 10H125 have emission class Е1.
